The end of the year is approaching fast, and so is our final open call group show for 2024.
We are looking for small works, works that would make great Christmas presents! That’s all there is to the brief (it’s a brief brief). So if you think this sounds like something you can do, click on the link and read on. We are looking forward to having your work in the gallery.
We would like to do a shout out to these folk who are hitting their artistic balls out of the park (or some other appropriate sporting metaphor!)
Ro Murray,who has been selected for the 19th Arte Laguna Prize in Venice (go Ro!!!!).
Michelle Connolly and Mary Stack, who are both finalists in the National Emerging Artist Prize 2024 (on until 9 November at The Garden Gallery, Royal Botanic Gardens of Sydney).
Dior Mahnken, who received the Honourable Roger Jaensch MP Runner-Up Award in the Paper on Skin competition (on until 16 November at the Devonport Regional Gallery).

This is very exciting for us. The first big outing for Tiliqua Tiliqua.
We will be in booth B14 in the Paper Room. Drop by and you will find Kate and Felix, as well as the amazing artists Marco Luccio, Ro Murray, Michelle Connolly, Katika Schultz, Fiona Ferguson and Brigitta Summers in booth B14 in the Paper Room. We will be showcasing so many wonderful works on paper, so much variety of works on paper. And of course, the Paper Room is the place to be at Sydney Contemporary. In our (not so humble opinion) that is where all the good stuff is.
We will also be showcasing works from some of the other fabulous artists who are regulars in the gallery including Jennifer Burns, Carol Muller, Yori Price and Andrew Ensor.

Our annual Printmakers Show is coming up in August, and as usual this is an open exhibition. So read about the submission process and get your application in. The deadline is August 4, so don’t wait, act now!
Tiliqua Tiliqua is nearly two years old! We’re calling artists to help us celebrate with our Annual Exhibition. This year the theme is the colour Magenta, which should make for a very uplifting show.
This is an open call out, anyone can submit work. Just read the information, put your happy music on and make art!

Then we are back with a bang and Jennifer Burns’ witty and charming new exhibition ‘Birds on Things’.
‘First Drawer’ has to have been one of our most successful shows to date. There were crowds of happy people admiring the wonderful, colourful (and affordable) prints and collages from these two talented artists, and so many sales! If you missed out this time, I believe they will be back next year…
