CYAN is here!

We are so excited to bring you our inaugural annual group show — CYAN.

Featuring many of the artists who have made our first year in the gallery so enjoyable, this exhibition is a celebration of the colour blue. And it truly is a celebration! The artists have responded to the theme with playful, joyful and moving artworks across an impressive range of mediums. All at a convenient size and price too.

Please come and help us mark the first anniversary of our first show in the Tiliqua Tiliqua gallery. Because the only people as important to us as the artists who have contributed, is fantastic art-loving folk who have supported us and joined us on our journey. See you at the party on Saturday 20 April!

(Or drop by anytime the gallery is open, we can probably rustle up a drink…)

GALLERY OPENING HOURS: 12–6PM THURSDAY–SUNDAY 20–30 APRIL 2023

look twice — works from the back room

While we are preparing for our next big exhibition (Cyan—it’s going to be a stunner!) we have put together a collection from our stockroom for you to enjoy (and maybe take home with you).

Drop in, we’d love to see you!

Congratulations Nectarios!

Another show has closed, but with a fine finish. Thank you to all the people who braved the terrible weather to come and celebrate with us on Saturday. And thank you to the art lovers who made it such a good day for Nectarios, so many red dots!

Stay tuned for news of our next big show, opening April 20. In the meantime, the gallery will be open limited hours with a display of recent works from gallery regulars.

See you all soon!

Two great artists, one fantastic show

Another combination of two very different artists to make the gallery sing!

Nectarios Livisianos is a painter exploring collage, paint and recycled canvases to make a series celebrating colour and life.

Felix Oppen is a photographer fascinated by entropy, chaos and the small things that catch our eye and make us think.

So join us at Tiliqua Tiliqua this week for some fabulous art—drop by on Saturday after four and make that fabulous art, food and drink!

‘tRADition’ — Amy Sargeant and Nicholas

Please join us for our second glorious show helping celebrate World Pride.

Like the flag we fly for World Pride, the art-making world is a spectrum of approaches, beliefs and techniques. Amy Sargeant and Nicholas are both queer artists exploring what this means in today’s Australia. But their very different approaches and choice of media makes this exhibition an exploration of opposites and oppositions.

CYAN — call for submissions

We are excited to announce the first Tiliqua Tiliqua Annual Exhibition!

‘Cowboys and Other Stories’ — Ian James Scott

We are excited to welcome long-term Tiliqua Tiliqua friend, Ian James Scott, for his first solo show here in Enmore. And to open our first show to coincide with World Pride.

And what a show this will be! Ian has taken materials from typically heteronormative spaces (products you can buy in your average hardware store in other words) to explore gloriously homoerotic subject matter in an explosion of unashamed colour.

Join Ian for opening drinks 6-8pm Thursday Feb 22
and throughout the show as he creates a new work in the gallery
