Lauren van Dort is an interdisciplinary artist working on Gadigal land. A recent graduate of University of Sydney’s Bachelor of Visual Arts,(Printmedia), her work explores the ways in which collage and abstraction can express memory . The cutting ,tearing and reassembling of found images, her work reflects the pandemonium and excitement of the past and the present , and the celebration of both life and death.
