‘My name is Jack Oliver Owen and I am a student at the National Art School, majoring in printmaking.

My current artistic practice is introspective and explores the themes of queer life, a new sense of ‘self’ and personal identity. My interests include queer history and politics and I often produce works that explore human relationships, both hidden and visible.

For this piece, I allowed my mind to walk through a series of memories surrounding relationship and documented the words that presented themselves. The work explores the shared and permanent journey that two people experience that cannot be separated, even if they eventually are.’
