Carizza Teague is a Sydney based artist originally from the Upper Hunter region of NSW. She studied textile design at the Eastern Sydney Institute of Technology and instead of being disheartened by the move of hand printing to digital forms she decided to start her own studio – The Printroom screen-printing studio.
In the Printroom, Carizza facilitates screen printing and shibori dyeing workshops as well as pumping out a lot of merch for the community and working on her own creative practice.
Her work often illustrates the screen-printed form scoured away, duplicated and layered until the desired aesthetic has been achieved.
