‘Tom Simmo is a Sydney based emerging multidisciplinary artist & craftsman who lives and works on Gadigal land. They are currently finishing up their third year of a BFA at the National Art School while working as a Visual Arts & Design Technology Technician at The McDonald College. They are also a founding member of the Stanmore based artist run space Little Yellow Studio Collective. Simmo’s practice spans printmaking, photography, digital media & drawing and it’s often based in themes of the abstraction inherent in the repetition of modern life. They also draw on a varied experience in construction trades including shopfitting, picture framing and heritage joinery, which inform their interest in architecture and materiality.’
