Primrose Sands was printed out of gratitude on Jo’s kitchen bench after a recent family holiday to beautiful Tasmania. Inspired by an evening on the back deck of a AirB&B in the backwaters of Primrose Sands. Basking in the elusive lights of the dancing Aurora Australis as it played in the night sky above the bay.
Jo Huntington (b.1971 -) is an emerging printmaker (and community maker) in Sydney Australia. She is part of an artist collective at Annandale Creative Arts centre and discovered her passion for Lino printing in the first Sydney Covid lockdown in 2020 when she joined an online course and received a pack of supplies in the mail.
