ABOUT THE ARTIST
“I saw something today…”
Through my photographs, I aim to celebrate the inherent beauty of the world around us – even if seemingly mundane at first glance. I prefer encouraging viewers to pause, reflect, and find solace in the simple moments that define our shared human experience as we encounter light, form, colour and contrast in a myriad of sometimes pleasing but other times jarring situations.
In a world heaving with visual stimuli, I’ve focussed on capturing the often unnoticed subjects in daily life without imposing a specific meaning or agenda. My goal is to provoke thought and stir the imagination by taking a photograph of “something I saw today”.
