ABOUT THE ARTIST
Andrew Barnum is a conceptual, colour field artist from South Coast NSW. This work explores the relationship between a found object containing experience, location, and grain, with a surface coat of industrial manufacture (paint) to depict an Australian wildlife icon, the Galah (Parrot) Eolophus roseicapilla.
