The artwork for this exhibition relates to the subject matter of still life and landscape which I explore and interpret in my own way. Colour is major characteristic in my artmaking practice especially in the use of exaggeration that removes the realism of what I see.

ABOUT KIM ISGRO-ATTWOOD

After finding it difficult to make a living out of my art, I decided to become a Visual Arts teacher so that I would still be involved in the art process. During my 30 odd years teaching Visual Arts I still made time to do my own artwork. This led to a few exhibitions held at different schools and then to group shows and competitions and then several shows at the Corner Gallery at Stanmore and last year a show at Art Gallery on Darling in Balmain.
