ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
‘under the rainbow, together’
Artists are invited to submit works for “Under the Rainbow, together”. This exhibition will coincide with World Pride 2024 and celebrate the future of the LGBTQIA+ community. Artists are invited to share their vision for our community’s diverse future? It is equal representation, or learning from our communities past experiences i.e. the 78ers? Works demonstrating gender and sexual diversity, size and disability inclusivity are highly encouraged.
Artists, please include in artist statement how you believe your artwork demonstrates both the World Pride 2024 theme: ‘Our Future’; and the curatorial statement above. Artists are not required to identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community to participate in this exhibition – your support and representation of the community is our focus.
All works will be considered. Concepts or partially completed works will be accepted for the call for submissions. All works must be complete for the exhibition.
A size restriction of 50x50cm applies for wall-based works.
Weight and size limitations apply for sculptural works.
We have applied for financial assistance for this show, however there may be an entry fee of $50 per artist required. We will let you know about this as soon as possible.
There is no commission fee for sold works.
Sydney–based artists will be invited to participate in artist talks with the curator on Saturday 2 March, 3pm. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sage Blake Rivers on: firstname.lastname@example.org
