Jennifer Burns’ first solo show

Jen Burns was the very first artist to book a show with us, so we are delighted she has also chosen us as the venue for her very first solo exhibition.

As to be expected from such a talented and witty artist, the works she is sharing with us are as amusing as they are gorgeous. Bin chicken on a bin lid? of course! Honey-eater on a sugar bag? naturally. And because it is Jen there are magpies everywhere.

These are not just birds, these are birds ON THINGS!

Take a sneak peak here.

Celebrate with wine, cheese and Jen from 4–8 pm Friday July 14

Gallery open 12–6pm Th-Sa & 12–4pm Su till July 16

‘Works on Paper’ — 18–28 August, 2022

If there is one thing we agree on in our studio, it is that we love paper and the seemingly endless ways it can be used. We’ve drawn works from our collection and from artists we admire, to tantalise you with a taste of paper’s potential (please don’t eat the exhibit!). With lino prints, etchings, drawings, mezzotints, photos, digital illustrations and … boiled paper? this exhibition promises to be a fascinating mix of subject and process with something sure to appeal to everyone.

Join us for drinks in the Gallery on Satuday August 20, from 3 to 6 pm

ARTISTS: KATE RILEY, FELIX OPPEN, RO MURRAY, YORI PRICE, NICHOLAS, LYDIA MORGAN, HUY NGUYEN

GALLERY HOURS: MIDDAY TO 5PM, THURSDAY TO SUNDAY OR BY APPOINTMENT

This January We Moved

That’s right. At the beginning of 2022 we moved the studio, two 600kg presses and all, from St Peters to 257 Enmore Rd, Enmore. Just a small distance, but it was a mammoth effort! And after all the kerfuffle, we are finally settling in and working again.

We’ve decided to call our new place TILIQUA TILIQUA
We have painted inside and out (the building was the most tragic pink you could imagine)
Our presses are set up (talk to us about renting time to print)

Kate’s work space is set up
Felix’s work space is set up
We’ve created a typeface for the place

Signage is underway
This website is now due for a major overhaul

Hey, we also now have a small exhibition room available for rent woohoo (if you’ve got some work you want to show, let’s talk).
