I am an artist currently studying at NAS, and interested in investigating the experience of chaos and degradation in the late stage capitalist city. In particular, I am interested in examining how the architecture of printed matter and constant influx of images mediate our cultural engagement with shared spaces. My work addresses the theme of boundaries by initiating a collision of found imagery that references how we move through the city- maps, signals, void spaces, etc. This imagery explores how we move through and experience the city in a way that is not only governed by physical space, but also cultural and virtual realms.
